Improvements For Dipdive

1) I wish we could rearrange the stuff on our profile (like photos, media, profile comments) to the way we want and have the option (like a check box) for what we want on there. say i dont want the media part, i just go to edit the profile and uncheck that part in the check box (or something like that) and it doesnt show up on your profile.

2) Easier way to delete the photos

3) When Theres A New BEP Promo Photo uploaded on here (PLEASE NO DIPDIVE TAG)

4) I wish we could upload our own background image

I'd like if there was:

A chatroom, it would be really great.

All of the BEP music videos uploaded in high quality and easily accessible.

And a more active forum, but I know that depends mostly on people.

i know this might sound a bit off but the colors on dipdive are darker and i don't like it haha

@Peabody4life: As you can see from the main dipdive.com home page - we are currently lightening the overall look of the site!  You'll see some Member Profile pages updates soon and Channels after that.

@Zarom: ahh... the chatroom!  This has been requested FOREVER.  Our team has been working hard right now on improving existing features before we can get to newer features again, but we haven't forgotten about chat!

@Voodoodoll124: In a few weeks, you'll see the first of many improvements at Member Profiles.  We do plan to offer more configurability.  We are making some changes to how pictures are displayed and managed, too.  Right now, the Dipdive watermark is very small, but we hear you.

Dipdive has been in "BETA" for a long time.  We're just now getting back through areas that we'd like to improve.  Keep the comments coming and THANK YOU!

Basically the suggestions are fine, but, I think about, slow connection like dial up and old computers in use are barriers too. It would be great if DIP DIVE TECS could suggest the  minumum computers hardweare and requirements necessarily useful  for this website, probably helpful as -  speed connections, computers stuff video cards like this and more.

For here: members who havent logged in more than 1 year  or a certain amount of time should be deleted so other people who sign up for dipdive can get those names if they want it.

This site is the best site ever for mee :) is better than blackeyedpeas.com, i love the two sites, but this is my fav! :)

anyway, there are some things I like to have in Dipdive, like:

1- Notification (when a dipdiver comment on a picture or a video, etc.. ,  like in facebook) :)

2- we could upload our own background image

3- we could see our photo albums as we do in facebook (no itunes style)

4- HQ and UHQ pictures :)

Personally i prefer dipdive because of the featurings, but bep.com has its History. it's like peabodies like it just because it was the first bep fan site.

personally I think that the main reason that people keep on blackeyedpeas.com, is because of the name, they think it's more related with bep than dipdive

bep.com is better, it's like my second home!

DIPDIVE IS REALLY SLOW, and there are not threads made by peabodies..

i know we can read the news here, but always i can read it later in bep.com posted by any peabody.

We used to visit bep.com since long time. it has a boring interace but is my favourite website...

I agree about the chatroom, this is something we miss here AND on bep.com, many users left there because the chat was gone, and many users do not come on Dipdive that often for the same reason...

I think the Dipdive forum is not as "famous" as the bep.com one because there is no straight link to it in our own profiles. Many people tend to get "lazy" because they have to visit the BEP channel and then select "forum" on the top of it (sounds senseless, but I have heard people saying this)

Dipdive is also slow for me, especially when I want to check videos or songs - they take ages to load :(

As long as they keep bep.com, I dont think fans will stop visiting there... there will be always the feeling of intimacy with the URL "www.blackeyedpeas.com" . But I do think Dipdive is WAY better than bep.com in terms of content and stuff. And it is already WAY BETTER than the new MySpace!

I agree with everyone about the chatroom, but I also get its hard to maintain and keep under control, which I guess is why it disappeared from bep.com. I also agree bep.com is where it all started so that's why people visit more frequently than Dipdive. I also feel like because the only readily available list of people online is who you're friends with it's harder to meet new people here and also to see how many people are actually online.

Only a few things I'm not fond of Dipdive for, the forums. I don't even know where to find them. I get that this site is for other people besides the Peas, but I find it very hard to navigate, unless you're already on the Peas channel or whomever else's. Another thing that keeps me away or at least from watching and listening to videos put on here is the media player. It is a MAJOR turn off, not sure what kind Dipdive uses, but I'm pretty sure it's about the only one that doesn't let you load the video when you pause the video. And that gets quite annoying if you are on a slow internet connection and the video pauses every 5 seconds.

I like to think that Dipdive is more I guess the word is "futuristic" compared to bep.com, but in my opinion I don't see Dipdive becoming like Facebook and taking over Myspace (bep.com). I think the users of bep.com are more comfortable (not the exact word I'm looking for) with bep.com.

I think Dipdive has great potential, maybe not with the peabodies or perhaps with them. I guess only more time will tell!

Maybe the homepage of the BEP channel could have more active topics listed and easier to access? The only reason I still go on BEP.com is because of the forum. Other than that I love Dipdive haha don't change too much

bep.com es mas para un peabody que lee todo el foro y esta al tanto

black eyed peas: a little faster, has no language selection, and do not change their therme with monkey bone are still not as Organiser can not be selected to upload many photos of Rev.

bep.com peabody is more for reading all the forum and are aware

Dipdive is something new and looks fresh, compared to bep.com which I think would be nice to have a new design there. Still ,some of us have been members on bep.com for years nd im pretty sure is the first site we check for everything .Dipdive also keep us updated but sometimes it works slow nd i think  thats what makes people dislike it and go back to bep.com; in both sites we have the info n the home page nd here the features are nice but maybe some ppl dont like the fact to go to each channel to check more.  Its up to each one of us nd what we like to do and check but i pretty like both.

what keeps me going back to bep.com? to tell you honestly, there used to be a lot of interaction over there, and a sense of community that i never felt in other (fan) sites i used to visit before Facebook took over the world. sure, there were petty fights and unwanted spammers/trolls sometimes, but it has virtually become a second home page on my browser -- to keep up-to-date with the peas' activities and to reconnect with newfound and longtime buddies. i would be on the site nearly every day...

then came dipdive. it offers more functionality and a world of channels beyond the bep.  there's so much you can do around here, you'll probably not have enough time to do it all.

but then, sometimes, all you want to look for is what's new with the band? unfortunately, the videos load too slowly even with high bandwidth connections, forcing me to just forget it.

like i said in the bep.com forum, being on bep.com felt like being back home (where it all began).

@Voodoodoll124: As mentioned - in just about a week, you will see a big change to Member Profile areas... but we aren't done, yet!  It's a stepping stone to providing more flexibility and customization options.

@J3lu: We are working on speeding up page loads throughout the site; In particular, I will also reach out to some users, especially outside of the US, on helping us improve video performance.

The reason I go back to bep.com is because it's "home" like alot of people have said. I've had so many great memories there, and I don't post as often as I used to, but I still visit everyday. Also, what I love so much about bep.com is that when you click on the homepage, you can see the fourm topics, and all the recent news about the peas that is posted by members. If the bep fourm was on the front page of dipdive, I would use it and likely distance myself more from bep.com. But since dipdive isn't solely dedicated to bep, I doubt the fourm would be on the front page.

I really like dipdive though for other purposes! It's great to share media content with fellow bep fans and even the peas themselves. Also, I love how dipdivers can participate in the site, like featured blogs, videos, etc. And I really miss those exclusive bep events, like the show they did in Times Square, that was really fun!

Overall, I'm happy with the site. It's great to be able to connect with the peas and other peabodies from bep.com on a different level. Like I said, basically the only reason I like bep.com is because it's "home" and the bep fourm is on the front page.
